King's Road Coffee

An unsolicited re-design of King's Road Coffee, a neighborhood café and coffee roaster in Los Angeles established in 1990. My wife first turned me on to the café and we regularly buy beans from there. The packaging redesign was more an aesthetic exploration than strategic positioning exercise, exploring graphic flourishes and elements with inspiration from Push Pin artists like John Alcorn and Seymour Chwast.
